Flutter Group-owned Sportsbet will significantly strengthen their digital platforms with our leading UK and Irish greyhound racing, which will also be shown on Tabcorp’s (TAB) SKY Racing network. If it wasn’t for betting, greyhound racing would be an extremely niche sport. There are some major greyhound racing events such as the English Derby, the Greyhound Night of Stars in the USA, and the Irish Derby. In addition to those main events, most greyhound tracks run regular races every day.

The operator’s new greyhound offering will consist of up to 53 meetings per week from British tracks including Central Park, Crayford, Doncaster, Harlow, Henlow, Hove, Monmore, Romford, and Towcester as well as Irish action from Cork, Kilkenny, Limerick, Mullingar, Tralee, Waterford and Youghal.

Our agreement with Sportsbet, Australia’s largest sportsbook operator, will further extend the reach of UK and Irish greyhound racing to even more bettors internationally than ever before.

This latest move follows the recent agreement between SIS and Racecourse Media Group (RMG), to deliver British and Irish horse racing to Sportsbet as part of a new multi-year streaming and marketing content deal.

Helen Ridley, Head of Group Account Management at SIS, said: “Delivering our industry-leading portfolio of UK and Irish greyhound action to Sportsbet is the perfect way to follow up on our recent horse racing deal with the leading Australian operator.

“Sportsbet have significantly boosted their racing offering by adding our first-class greyhound racing, which continues to deliver strong revenues for bookmakers across the globe. We are delighted to have extended our partnership with Sportsbet and look forward to working with them.”

Paul Bittar, of Sportsbet, said: “We are continually looking at expanding our international racing offering, so are thrilled to partner with SIS and deliver quality UK and Irish greyhounds. With SIS’ experience in the distribution of top-quality live pictures and data of these greyhound meetings, we are in a strong position to deliver exciting new betting experiences for our customers and increase engagement levels.”

We have extended our partnership with Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI) for a further five years in a deal that will see the continued distribution of live pictures and data from selected GRI tracks. Our customers worldwide will continue to have weekly access to competitive Irish greyhound racing from established and popular tracks throughout Ireland.

Coverage will be distributed across our retail and online services, including our 24/7 Live Betting Channels – an end-to-end solution that provides operators with profitable short-form content throughout the day with a betting event every three minutes.

GRI’s Irish greyhound tracks will feature over 400 times a year across our services, with continued engagement with Racing Post Greyhound TV (RPGTV) to feature top-quality Irish racing when possible.

Paul Witten, Commercial Director at SIS, said: “We’re thrilled to be extending our partnership with GRI and to be distributing live pictures and data from a wide range of first-class Irish greyhound tracks over the next five years.
